Preservation

Leather thrives with care. Shield it from prolonged sun, rain, or humidity. If wet, gently dab with a dry canvas cloth—no rubbing. Ink, oils, or rough fabrics may leave lasting marks. When not in use, rest your strap away from direct light.

A Note on Patina

Yoke leather is not waterproof. Like a well-loved journal or weathered boots, its patina reflects the journey the leather been through. Embrace the soft creases and darkened edges. They are proof that a camera is taken out often.

Edges

Yoke is crafted to age gracefully with minimal upkeep. Eschewing edge paint to eliminate cracks, each strap features hand-polished natural edges that are finished in a three-step process. A quick polish with a damp canvas cloth revives their shine, and improves yoke's resistance to the elements.

Hardware

Crafted from aerospace-grade titanium, Yoke’s hardware sets a new standard for strap hardware. This advanced material requires special attention to maintain its performance. We recommend keeping the split ring fully closed to preserve its form. 

Repairs

Life takes its toll. When yoke is due for a refresh, it can be sent back to the place where it is made for repairs to prepare it for the journey ahead. Yokes are repaired at cost.
