Yoke uses only Italian full-grain leather—untreated surfaces that retain their natural grain, veins, and pores. These marks are not flaws but proof of authenticity, ensuring your strap ages with resilience and character. Over time, it will soften, develop a subtle sheen, and deepen into a patina unique to your touch.

Preservation

Leather thrives with care. Shield it from prolonged sun, rain, or humidity. If wet, gently dab with a dry canvas cloth—no rubbing. Ink, oils, or rough fabrics may leave lasting marks. When not in use, test your strap away from direct light.

A Note on Patina

Yoke leather is not waterproof. Like a well-loved journal or weathered boots, its patina reflects your shared journey. Embrace the soft creases and darkened edges—they’re proof of a life fully lived.

Edges

Yoke is crafted to age gracefully with minimal upkeep. Eschewing edge paint to eliminate cracks, each strap features hand-polished natural edges—meticulously finished to retain their organic lustre. A quick polish with a damp canvas cloth revives their shine, and improves yokes resistance to the elements.
